E3.series – One platform for electrical, fluid, cabinet, and harness design
E3.series provides a leading single-platform solution to take electrical and fluid control designs from concept to manufacture. E3.series encompasses functional design, detailed schematics (electrical and fluid), wiring and tubing diagrams, through to control cabinet and wire harness layout in 2D and 3D. All applications are driven by an intelligent database that enables electrical, and logical checks that ensure correct connections by design. E3.series connects to leading MCAD design platforms to streamline the creation of digital twins. It transforms product development with electrical data management solutions seamlessly connecting to existing PLM and PDM systems. The enterprise-level options simplify collaboration between teams of all sizes working across the globe.

Design Data Management for Electrical and Fluid Projects
The DS-E3 design data management environment provides electrical designers and manufacturing engineers with up-to-date, validated libraries, E3.series design data and BOM information. This information enables them to manage tasks and workflows for change and approval processes and support intelligent design configuration and reuse through module and variant management. DS-E3's powerful design data management functionality is built directly into the familiar user interface of Zuken's E3.series suite. It can be individually configured to meet the specific needs of different roles, such as schematic designer, panel layout designer, librarian or manufacturing engineer. DS-E3 is based on an industry-standard object-oriented architecture and is fully equipped for integration into existing PDM/PLM and ERP environments. It provides a true electromechanical data model with complete transparency of electrical designs down to the component level.

Smart Cabinet Building - The digital twin for control cabinet manufacturing
The Smart Cabinet Building Initiative is a joint project of Weidmüller, Komax, Zuken, Armbruster Engineering and nVent Hoffman / Steinhauer. Its aim is to offer holistic solutions for the digitalization of control cabinet construction by networking technology and know-how across all process steps. These solutions range from component selection to pre-assembly and wiring to testing based on the data from the digital twin of the control cabinet and its wiring. This digital twin is supplied by the E3.series software for planning the electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic control technology. The data generated with the E3.series applications is used directly to control the digitally controlled control cabinet processing and assembly.
