Kontron expands its HMI portfolio with more powerful control panels based on Arm® NXP i.MX8M Plus processors for device and machine control as well as building automation. The new product line offers significantly higher computing and graphics performance, greatly expanded connectivity, and a wide range of functions. Numerous interfaces enable communication with a wide variety of fieldbuses and cloud connections. In addition, the control panel provides extensive customization options thanks to its internal M.2 slot and an additional expansion connector.
The high-performance control panel series combines premium design with scalable performance for device and machine control as well as building automation. The product line is specifically designed for control cabinet mounting. For fast and efficient implementation of demanding automation and visualization solutions, it is also available with CODESYS SoftPLC. Depending on performance requirements, variants with Arm® i.MX6 or i.MX8M Plus processors and different memory configurations are available. The control panels are designed for long-term availability (>10 years) and can be customized and optimized to meet individual requirements.
