<b>Magnescale Co., Ltd.</b>, established in 1969, is a Japanese manufacturer of high precision measuring systems. The product range includes high precision linear and rotary encoder as well as digital gauges and displays.
Magnescale products can be used for a wide range of applications:
<b>Digital gauges</b> can be used in various applications like in production lines with multiple measurement points, connecting to Profinet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Ethernet or RS232, but also for small measurements with a direct connection to PC using the USB port.
<b>Rotary and linear Feedback encoder</b> are mainly used in machine tools. The magnetic principle prevents damage in harsh environment while utilizing a high accuracy and resolution in the nanometer range.
<b>Optical Laserscale encoder</b> are mainly used in semiconductor industry for high precision measurements in picometer range.

MG80-NE/EI/PN/EC/CL – Ethernet-based network interfaces
The MG80 modules offer high speed processing (400µs) of all axis values and calculations. Depending on the communication protocol needed, the matching module can be chosen: ● Ethernet (TCP/TP) 1000BASE-TX: MG80-NE ● EtherNET/IP: MG80-EI ● PROFINET: MG80-PN ● EtherCAT: MG80-EC ● CC-Link: MG80-CL Possible linking of: ● 4 interface modules of MG80-NE ● 255 interface modules of MG80-EI/PN ● 65,535 interface modules of MG80-EC ● 21 interface modules of MG80-CL Further, up to 16 MG80-CM counter modules can be connected to each of the MG80 network interfaces. ● Transmission speed of 100Mbit/s ● Current value / MAX / MIN / P-P output ● Easy mounting on 35mm DIN rail

USB Digital Gauge
With a measuring range from 5 mm to 100 mm and a resolution of 0.1µm/0.5µm, the DS-Series can be used perfectly for in-process or post-process measurements. Connect the DS series with UBS connector directly or via USB hub to your PC, or directly to the LU20 display. Get the matching MeasureViewer software! ● Multiple display possibilities: analog meter, horizontal/vertical bar graph, numerical display ● Measurement modes: current value / MAX / MIN / P-P ● Selectable display range (+/-0.05µm to +/-250mm) ● GO/NG results for current value ● CSV data output

LU20 digital display meets Cobot application
Use our LU20 digital display together with a cobot for outside diameter measurements, inside diameter measurements and depth measurements! Outer diameter measurement: After calibration, the entire circumference of the outer diameter is measured by a 180-degree rotation. Inside diameter measurement: After calibration, the entire circumference of the inner diameter is measured by rotating the tool 180 degrees. Depth measurement: After calibration, threaded holes can be measured with one measurement tool
