About us
Helukabel Switzerland, with over 30 employees, is based in Spreitenbach, Aargau, near Zurich. The Swiss location is an important, international player within the Helukabel Group. We supply cables from Switzerland to all over the world. The focus is on the machine industry and the manufacture of special cables.
For over 25 years, we have been advising and supplying our customers with cables and cable accessories, right through to system solutions. Our great strength is designing special cables together with you for one-off and recurring applications.

EKD Systems - energy chains and energy chain systems
EKD Systems is a manufacturer of energy chains. A wide range of energy chains and energy chain systems, which provides the standard of energy chains in steel and plastic up to plug inspeciality products and tailormade solutions with cables, connectors and mounting kits for every application. The service spectrum ranges from the selection and design of appropriate energy chains, electrical and hose lining to final assembly and commissioning on site. HELUKABEL is launching the HELUCHAIN MULTISPEED 522-TPE UL/CSA, an improved drag chain cable. This new version offers numerous advantages for demanding applications, such as outdoor crane systems and dynamic pick-and-place systems. In the mechanical and plant engineering industry, the requirements for energy chains are increasing: longer travel distances, higher speeds and more compact designs require highly flexible, resilient and at the same time thin and light cables. The HELUCHAIN MULTISPEED 522-TPE UL/CSA meets these requirements perfectly. It has an innovative TPE outer jacket that makes the cable up to ten percent thinner and four percent lighter than comparable PUR variants. This saves space and enables greater dynamics. The extended temperature range increases the service life in many applications. An integrated tear thread makes stripping easier and reduces assembly effort. Thanks to UL and CSA approval, the cable can be used internationally, which simplifies storage and documentation. The proven advantages of the MULTISPEED series, such as a small bending radius, gap-filling sheath and pair/bundle stranding, are retained. A shielded version minimizes EMC interference. HELUKABEL has extensively tested the cable with over 50 million bending cycles. Users benefit from a long-lasting, efficient solution for energy chains.
