Multicode reader verifies and analyses codes and text
The multicode reader O2I now also detects fonts and characters in addition to the familiar 1D and 2D codes (OCR). It ensures reliable identification even under difficult conditions, e.g. in case of changing extraneous light or shiny surfaces. The manufacturing date, the batch number and the serialisation of the products are now important points in the environment of track & trace - tasks in the environment of Industry 4.0. With the further developed O2I, these tasks can now be mastered brilliantly. Reading or comparing texts alone, or in combination with 1D and 2D codes.

The new generation of ecomatBasic controllers
The new generation of ecomatBasic controllers has everything you need in terms of performance and flexibility to reliably control mobile machines. In addition to a controller for standard applications, the ecomatBasic also offers a separate controller for safety-related functions. With up to 16 multifunctional inputs and outputs each, the controller is designed to meet any customer-specific requirement – especially as the computing power has been more than doubled compared to the first generation. Utilising this extra performance and the convenience of CODESYS 3.5 in existing machines is easy: The dimensions of the CR403S are identical to those of the BasicController series.

io-key
Minimum requirements, maximum benefit: 24 V and a mobile network – that's all the io-key needs to do its job. If both are available the IoT gateway sends the data directly from IO-Link sensors to the cloud. It does not matter to the io-key if it is in a sea container, in a supply silo in the middle of hectares of arable land or in a remote machine far from existing IT infrastructures. In other words: With the io-key the IIoT is always there where you need it. This opens up new opportunities in process monitoring – and innovative approaches for increased customer service.

Air gap sensor for machine tools
The SDP air gap sensor detects the distance between the surface and object with consistent accuracy and outputs it as an absolute value. Even the smallest deviations of the actual position from the target position are reliably detected. This permanently ensures the quality of your product. Since the gap is calculated on the basis of pressure and flow, the measurement remains accurate at all times, regardless of pressure fluctuations, number and diameter of the nozzles.In addition, the robust measuring pipe can also withstand the purge pressure, eliminating the need to switch between purging and measuring.

O2U5: two vision sensors in one
The O2U5 provides the user with almost unlimited combination possibilities in 2D inspection. Surfaces and contours of objects can now be analysed simultaneously with QR or bar codes. For example, the QR code can be used to check whether the component actually corresponds to the order, while at the same time the contour and surface analysis allows for performing the final quality control before installation.

2 in 1: Sensors with IO-Link and digital switching signal
With these inductive sensors, the Y path, i.e. the provision of sensor information for both the analogue and digital worlds, begins in the sensor itself. The sensor thus enables the best of both worlds - via only one connection cable: Fast switching operations can be transmitted to the controller via a switching signal, while changes in the distance between the sensor and the target, for example, can be continuously monitored and transmitted to the IT level via IO-Link. This allows to identify maintenance requirements at an early stage and avoid expensive unplanned downtimes.

Electronic manometer with LED visualisation
Discover the redesigned PG electronic pressure gauge from ifm – combining proven pressure measurement technology with state-of-the-art LED visualization. The multicolour LED display provides a clear indication of pressure ranges, switching points, and trend curves, replacing error-prone mechanical pointers with durable, maintenance-free LEDs. Equipped with a robust ceramic measuring cell, the device offers excellent resistance to pressure spikes and meets the highest hygiene standards, as it operates without oil as a pressure transmission medium. The integrated IO-Link interface adds smart features such as display optimization, sensor diagnostics, and temperature monitoring – making it the perfect choice for applications in the food and beverage industry.

G1/2 pressure sensor
Wherever highly viscous or abrasive media such as adhesives, sealants or glue are conveyed through pipes under exact and high pressure, the compact G 1/2 pressure transmitter PL15 is the ideal choice. The flush design provides no dead space for media to adhere to, effectively preventing clogging of the pipe. The ceramic measuring cell also resists extreme pressure peaks and permanently withstands abrasive contents such as glass balls or other solid particles.

VVB as 3-axis vibration sensor with IO-Link
he VVB30x continuously detects the vibrations in three measurement axes and uses them to calculate proven indicators for evaluating the machine condition. This provides the user with information on fatigue (v-RMS), mechanical friction (a-RMS), impacts (a-Peak) and bearing wear (Crest). The surface temperature is also transmitted as an additional wear indicator.

Calibration check technology: the temperature sensor that checks itself
Thanks to the improved inline calibration process, the TCC achieves an accuracy of ± 0.2 K across the entire measuring range. This makes it perfectly suited for use in temperature-sensitive processes such as food, rubber or carbon processing. Besides, the TCC ensures a smooth process and a high product quality by permanently monitoring its own reliability. If the sensor deviates from the individually defined tolerance values or in the event of a sensor malfunction, it provides a corresponding signal via the clearly visible LED and the diagnostic output.

Signal lamps are used for status indication or as warning device everywhere in factories on machines, conveyors and installations. ifm’s innovative signal lamps offer several advantages over conventional signal lamps and are therefore suitable for demanding applications.

Innovative AI camera for person and collision protection
Discover the world’s first 2D/3D PMD camera with ifm Deep Learning, developed and produced in Germany and designed for use on mobile machines. The O3M AI offers precise person detection and collision protection in real time. Thanks to the fusion of 2D and 3D data, the camera detects pedestrians up to 25 metres away and works reliably in different light and weather conditions.

The new versatility: conductivity measurement in any pipe size
With different process connections in the common sizes G 1 and G 1/2, the conductivity sensors of the LDL2xx group offer the right solution for precise CIP monitoring for every pipe size from DN25 – without the need for costly pipe extensions or obstructions.

To prevent this, ifm offers a powerful power supply for mounting directly in the field.
