For safety applications with cyber security
Functional safety in Industrial Ethernet is essential for the safe operation of industrial systems. The risk of accidents and failures can be minimised through the implementation of safety protocols, continuous monitoring and compliance with international standards. As a long-standing safety sensor specialist, Kübler is now expanding its safe Industrial Ethernet encoder platform with the latest SIL2 and SIL3 certified Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) protocol. The S58x8FSX encoder transmits up to 15 bits safe or up to 24 bits non-safe, as well as fully redundant multiturn information of 12 bits safe. Thanks to the platform architecture, this is realised in exactly the same design as the S58 PROFIsafe encoder. Updates can be carried out easily via FoE (File over EtherCAT) without the need for a web server. This simplifies the maintenance process considerably and ensures that the encoder always remains state-of-the-art. The Sendix encoder offers great benefits, particularly due to its high system availability. Equipped with cyber security and protection mechanisms against hacker attacks and misuse in accordance with IEC 62443, the encoder ensures a safe and reliable connection in safety-critical applications.

New generation of Kübler Sendix encoders
The Sendix K58 (size 58 mm) and K80 (size 80 mm with large hollow shaft) encoders also impress with their new, future-proof technology - they are ideal for integration into future IIoT environments and will feature a digital type plate in the future. The robust construction with advanced Safety-Lock™ design, long service life and versatile application options make the new Sendix encoders the ideal choice for your application. An innovative housing design that is standardized for each size enables designers to achieve maximum simplicity and efficiency without compromising on mounting type, installation depth, size or installation space. This means that the designer has only one standardized design-in concept across all new variants.

Radar sensors for precise measurements
The compact radar sensors impress with their versatility in demanding environments and tight installation situations. With different aperture angles - ±3° (6°), ±7.5° (15°) or a particularly narrow ±1.5° (3°) - they offer maximum focussing for precise positioning tasks and reliable object detection. Thanks to measuring rates of up to 500 Hz, a measuring range of 0.3 m to 40 m and a measuring accuracy of up to ±0.1 mm, they enable a wide range of applications with state-of-the-art radar technology. Thanks to their intuitive operation, the sensors are easy to integrate into existing control concepts. Supported by a PROFINET interface, integrated web server and user-friendly tools, they create transparency in operation and simplify implementation. Whether as a stand-alone solution or in system solutions - the radar sensors combine precision, speed and robustness for the highest requirements.

Magnetic sensors with diametral magnet
Robust, high-resolution angle sensor technology with easy integration and reliable performance even at high speeds. Ideal for precise position and speed detection and for use in a wide variety of applications. Installation is quick and easy. Kübler is expanding its sensor technology portfolio with a compact, magnetic kit encoder based on a diametrical magnet. Thanks to its small size, it can be integrated directly onto the motor shaft or into the motor housing. An additional shielding plate effectively protects the system from magnetic stray fields, for example from motor brakes, ensuring reliable measurements even in demanding environments. The encoders are available in two absolute versions: singleturn provides a unique value for each angular position, which is retained even after a power loss. Multiturn allows detection over several revolutions. The integrated energy harvesting technology stores the number of revolutions without an external power supply, making the system particularly fail-safe. The high accuracy, robust magnetic field sensor technology, and flexible interfaces enable versatile applications in drive and automation technology. How it works: The diametrical magnet generates a magnetic field that changes with rotation in the plane of the direction of rotation. Sensors continuously detect the magnetic field direction, enabling precise angle determination with high resolution. In the multiturn system, an integrated energy harvesting chip counts the revolutions and stores them even in the event of a brief interruption in the power supply.

Compact with inductive detection
The new generation of inductive encoders from Kübler offers precise incremental and absolute position and speed detection – reliably even under the toughest conditions. The inductive measuring principle is insensitive to dust, oil, moisture, and vibrations and ensures permanently stable measured values. The extremely compact design consisting of only two circuit boards allows maximum design freedom. Stator and rotor boards can be flexibly adapted to almost any geometry and installation space. Large radial and axial mounting tolerances ensure simple, fast, and safe integration into a wide variety of systems. The encoders are available in various designs: incremental, absolute singleturn, absolute multi-turn, or as a combined solution. All variants deliver high-precision, contactless data and are ideal for applications with minimal space available. Whether in drives, positioning systems, or demanding automation applications, inductive sensor technology enables greater precision, robustness, and freedom in design. The new generation of inductive encoders sets new standards for modern industrial sensor technology.

Incremental bearingless encoders for integration in motors
For a compact motor design. The magnetic bearingless encoders are free of wear and robust at the same time thanks to a contactless measuring principle. This means your motors can enjoy continuous operation without fault. The compact design really comes into its own in tight installation spaces.

Signaling of states with signal lights
The signal lights are available in diameters of 35 mm and 55 mm and can be optionally equipped with a siren. These ideally complement the existing Kübler products and enable quick and easy signaling of the measured values in the traffic light colors green, yellow or red, and thanks to the preconfigured logic, they can be combined quickly and easily with the Kübler sensors and displays.

Signaling of states with signal towers
The ST40 signal tower with a diameter of 40 mm can be optionally equipped with a siren. The integrated IO-Link interface enables simple connection to an IO-Link network and the signal light can be used to signal the status of machines and systems both visually and acoustically.

Integrated servo motors
The new ACTILINK-S integrated servomotors from Synapticon are a pioneering solution for integrated servomotors and are unique in their class. The position determination of the drive controller is based on Kübler sensor technology. The growing demand for decentralized automation in machine building and factory automation calls for new concepts in terms of both space saving and performance optimization, areas in which Kübler traditionally has a very strong global presence, market knowledge and application experience. While many customers in this business segment require different types of encoders, integrated servo drives are naturally also found here. The new integrated drives are available in 60 mm and 80 mm sizes with an output of 200 to 1000 watts. They enable a considerable reduction in installation space and costs compared to conventional drive and motor solutions, as they replace several components and functions in a classic servo axis. A unique thermal concept ensures maximum efficiency with up to 3 times higher dynamics compared to conventional drive solutions. A hybrid single-cable technology replaces the classic three cables per axis. The connection is made via FSoE. Further protocols and safety functions are being planned.

Der IO-Link Master als Gateway in die Welt des Industrial Ethernet
IO-Link is becoming more and more established on the market - and the trend is rising. IO-Link is already being used in machine tools, production lines, in intralogistics and in packaging machines. The simple structure, the reduced costs and the prerequisites for entry into future Industry 4.0 concepts are the key arguments. key arguments. IO-Link products from Kübler open up new possibilities for your application. The product portfolio is now being expanded with the IO-Link master as a gateway to the world of Industrial Ethernet, enabling comprehensive connection of field devices to Ethernet-based systems. Kübler has added suitable IO-Link masters for the most common Ethernet protocols Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT and PROFINET to its portfolio to match the existing IO-Link sensors. The masters are available from stock in versions with 4 or 8 ports (Class A and Class B) and enable simple integration into the Ethernet world. Thanks to the system concept, complete, coordinated systems can be created together with the IO-Link field devices and the appropriate cables and connectors. The masters also support SIO mode, which means that existing field devices with classic switching signals can be easily integrated. Kübler thus offers an efficient, all-in-one solution for numerous applications.
