The VHV5-F delivers exceptional performance for any code, any application, any operator, and any production line, with built-in code quality monitoring. OMRON has launched the new VHV5-F high-performance barcode reader—a next generation in code reading—that combines advanced imaging, intelligent decoding, and ultra-fast processing. Built with a multi-core processing engine, NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for AI acceleration, high-speed sensors, and the advanced X-Mode 6.0 decoding algorithm, the VHV5- achieves 99.99% read rates out of the box. The intelligent reader can process up to 4,000 and verify up to 1,200 parts per minute. With pipelined acquisition and parallel processing, the VHV5-F ensures seamless real-time decoding of even the most challenging DPM (direct part mark) codes. The VHV5-F is designed for a wide range of industries, including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, automotive, logistics, electronics, and high-speed printing. Reliable measurements in motion When measuring moving workpieces, laser displacement sensors are impacted by workpiece surface conditions, and variations in measurement values may exceed the resolution set forth in their specifications. ZP-L provides reliable measurement even in motion. E3AS-HF Long-range Time-of-Flight sensor
The E3AS-HF Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor offers reliable detection from 5 cm to 6 m with a unique angle characteristic for greater installation flexibility OMRON Industrial Automation launches the E3AS-HF, a long-range ToF sensor designed for stable and precise detection in demanding industrial environments where accurate object detection, positioning, and distance measurement are required. With a sensing range from 0,05 to 6 meters and a unique wide-angle characteristic of ±85°, the E3AS-HF photoelectric sensor ensures reliable operation regardless of colour, shape, or material—simplifying sensor selection and setup. Three innovative technologies for superior sensing The ToF method measures distance based on elapsed time, making detection unaffected by color or material. With the patented ultra-fast sampling at 10 billion times per second, it accumulates 10 million data points to generate a clear incident light waveform while minimizing noise. This enables the sensor to detect even low-reflective workpieces like black rubber from a long distance. The high-frequency circuit technology, within the Laser Class 1 design, uses an extremely narrow pulse width that maximizes emission within safety limits. This eliminates the need for additional protective measures and allows for a compact and effective system setup. Another key feature, the high-sensitivity Avalanche Photodiode (APD) controlling algorithm, detects even minimal incident light. Thanks to its extended range and wide-angle detection, the E3AS-HF can be installed further from moving machinery, minimizing collisions, misalignment, and downtime. The OLED display offers intuitive operation, while fast 2ms response time and programmable I/O options, including IO-Link, make integration seamless. The built-in Automatic Mutual Interference Prevention function helps maintain stable operation even in applications where multiple sensors are used in close proximity.

M1-EMP: New AC Drive with multiprotocol Ethernet support
The M1-EMP inverter provides native connectivity to EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and Modbus TCP networks without the need for optional hardware boards, reducing both cost and installation effort. Sharing the same form factor as the existing M1-ECT EtherCAT model, the M1-EMP supports 10/100 Mbps half and full duplex communication. It enables cyclic messaging that can be used in either pre-configured or freely mapped modes, as well as non-cyclic messaging for full parameter access. An external 24 V DC backup supply further improves reliability by keeping communication active even if the main power is interrupted. The M1 AC Drives series offers a comprehensive set of capabilities. It supports flexible motor control for induction motors, permanent magnet motors and direct drive applications, while integrated position control with a gear function makes it suitable for a variety of motion tasks. Energy-saving features help reduce operating costs, and built-in safety functions such as Safe Stop 0 (STO SIL3 PLe) support compliance with strict safety requirements. For users working with EtherCAT, the series also includes a model with FSoE STO functionality. Configuration and monitoring are simplified thanks to seamless integration with OMRON’s Sysmac Studio software and the OMRON Drive App, which allow setup, parameter adjustment and diagnostics to be carried out quickly and consistently.
