About us
Founded in 1964 the company focused on the sale of cable shoes, wire-end ferrules and cable connectors as well as the special tools required for their processing. There later followed supplementary in-house developments. Since the early 1960s, the product range for the electrical wholesale trade, the demands of industry and switch cabinet construction has been constantly expanded in close collaboration with CEMBRE. Today, for example, cable glands und cable protection products have become industry standard – as has our own cable-labelling system with a wide product range for industrial labelling. In our in-house calibration and service centre we calibrate and repair all tools supplied by us. Pull-out tests in combination with a microsection analysis are also part of our service.
In addition to the large number of direct panel components, Otto Schoch AG supplies various solutions
for marking and industrial identification of control panels, terminals, modular components and control cabinets. The thermal transfer printers enable the rapid marking of cables and other elements
requiring identification. The range of products is particularly extensive for the control and switchboard construction sector. Therefore we are able to satisfy the different requirements of the individual application areas in the best possible way.

Calibration of torque tools
We also offer first-class calibration and certification services for torque tools such as those from Tohnichi, ITH and HS-Technik. Our services at a glance: All products are delivered with a free calibration certificate, so they are ready for immediate use. After a specified period of time, we can check your tools and issue a new calibration certificate if required. Expert calibration and timely repairs ensure that your equipment achieves maximum service life and your overall costs are reduced in the long term. Documentation is also carried out here with the help of special test programmes from the various manufacturers.
Repair and service
Only thoroughly tested products leave our premises. However, should you experience a problem with one of our tools, please contact us immediately. We repair all tools supplied by us at our service center. To ensure the safety and reliability of the equipment, repairs and maintenance should only be carried out by trained personnel. Our service technicians, who have years of experience in hydraulics, among other areas, will gladly perform your annual or periodic maintenance. This ensures and guarantees flawless operation and a long service life.

Cordless hydraulic crimping tool BA500
The BA500 hydraulic battery-powered tool is suitable for installing electrical crimp connections on cables up to 300 mm2. This crimping tool uses standard 50 kN crimping dies that are compatible with other tools and heads. Thanks to the adaptive control, the BA500 crimping tool automatically adapts the force to the cross-section of the connector and interrupts the crimping process as soon as the crimping dies reach the stop. In this way, the BA500 only uses the force actually required for pressing and does not reach the maximum pressure of 700 bar every time. The adaptive control can be activated by the operator at will. The BA500 recognises when a fastener has been inserted into the head and automatically stops the stroke of the press inserts as soon as it encounters the slightest resistance. This holds the connector without being pressed, allowing the operator to check the correct positioning of the connector between the crimp inserts and precisely align the conductor into the cable lug. The head is hinged and can be rotated through 180° to adapt to different types of application. The quiet and handy BA500 crimping tool has a compact pistol grip design and is equipped with an ergonomic handle to ensure comfort even during prolonged use.
Hydraulic battery-operated cutterB-TC500ND-SC
The hydraulic battery-operated cutter B-TC500ND-SC with double piston hydraulic was developed for cutting copper, aluminum and telephone cables up to a maximum diameter of 50 mm (e.g. 4 x 150 mm2 NYY-0). The special cut and the special geometry of the cutting blades guarantee a «straight cut». Because of the snap closure on the head, the tool can also be used to cut endless material. The good handling is optimally guaranteed by the 90° rotatable head. The open head makes it easier to work in places that are difficult to access.
B500nd - Crimping tool for cable lugs
The B500ND from CEMBRE is the first of a new generation of portable cordless tools, characterized by a "bi-linear" design and equipped with an intelligent automatic return at the end of the cycle (Smart Release). The B500ND is suitable for crimping cable lugs and connectors up to 300 mm². A large selection of crimping dies from the 50 kN CEMBRE tool range is available for this purpose. A new 18V - 2.0 Ah high-performance Li-Ion battery enables longer periods of independent work. The tool is also equipped with an overpressure sensor and a safety valve: The sensor guarantees greater repeatability of the maximum pressure, while the valve provides important protection for the user.
MG4 thermal transfer printer
THE MARKINGENIUS®MG4 is an industrial labelling printer designed to offer high quality and long-lasting printing for text, logos, electrical symbols, QR codes and all kinds of vector images. Equipped with a ribbon save system, a useful function that allows you to consume only the ribbon needed for printing. Its reliability and robustness mean that the MG4 can be used intensively, making it suitable for all kinds of applications. The large on-board touch screen enables quick and easy management of print projects. Each monochrome ribbon can print more than 300,000 MG-TPMF 4x10 mm labels. MG4 can be used with both a mains power supply and with CEMBRE CAS Alliance rechargeable batteries: the machine can be used in the office, in production and also on site, right in front of the panel to be wired. The interchangeable battery, which can power both MG4 and all CEMBRE tools, allows full portability of the printer.
