Products & services

Location systems - Tag-LOC System
Locate, track and manage assets with precision Tag-LOC is a location system for industrial applications. It determines the exact location of assets such as vehicles, parts, materials, etc. in real time. Position data can be used to track and trace assets, enabling continuous monitoring of goods movements and material flows.

Deep Learning - Artificial intelligence for SICK sensors
Deep Learning from SICK breaks new ground in industrial automation. With its user-friendly operation, Deep Learning makes it possible to train artificial neural networks for SICK sensors in the cloud with little effort using example images. The sensors can then evaluate and sort objects in line with customized criteria on-site – in machines or systems – even if the natural appearance of the objects varies.

FlexChain - Switching automation light grids
The flexible and efficient detection system in one chain The FlexChain is a flexibly configurable light grid thanks to the sequential connection of several sensors. There is no need for long connection cables or complex wiring. By pressing a button on the FlexChain Host, the sensors can be addressed and taught-in automatically, meaning the system is immediately ready for use. Different sensor technologies can be combined and freely arranged: Through-beam photoelectric sensors, photoelectric sensors. The raw sensor data is evaluated via the FlexChain Host with integrated logic modules or forwarded directly via IO-Link, CANopen, RS-485 or I/O signals. Detailed diagnostic information ensures optimum process stability and measurement certainty during operation.

MLG2 - Measuring automation light grids
Maximum performance in terms of response time, resolution, and object detection The continued systematic development in the field of measuring automation light grids: With the MLG-2 product family, SICK always offers the perfect solution for a variety of applications in the logistics automation and machine building industries. The MLG-2 Pro variant is used in challenging applications involving transparent objects and high detection speeds. With new functions such as “Transparent mode,” “High-speed scan,” or “High measurement accuracy,” the MLG-2 Pro performs new measurement tasks with the utmost precision. The pre-installed solutions in the SOPAS configuration software allow complex applications, such as object width measurement, to be configured with ease. The MLG-2 Pro uses conventional industrial interfaces so that individual solutions can be programmed via the controls.

nanoScan3 - safety laser scanner
The ultra-compact safety laser scanner: Easy integration and economical reliability for mobile platforms, autonomous carts, and cobots This product will be launched in 2019 and combines smart safety functions with excellent measurement data quality for an accurate and reliable localization. The extremely space-saving sensor, which boasts an overall height of just eight centimeters, is used wherever machines and vehicles require maximum performance but have minimal mounting space. The ultra-compact nanoScan3 safety laser scanner with an overall height of just eight centimeters is the perfect choice for a minimal mounting space.

Master Data Analyzer - Track and trace system
Digitization of goods for optimized logistics processes The Master Data Analyzer track-and-trace system captures the dimensions, the weight, and the bar code of objects in one step. Measuring automation light grids (MLG) enable measurements to be taken regardless of the object's reflective properties. This means that the Master Data Analyzer can be relied upon to deliver accurate measured data for objects packaged in foil in particular. It is not necessary to align objects. Measurements can be carried out in both directions. Data is send directly after an object has been detected. Measurements can even be interrupted. The Master Data Analyzer also impresses with its rugged design, simple and intuitive operation, and maintenance-free mechanism.

TDC - Gateway system
Think about your data – analyze and act The TDC (Telematic Data Collector) gateway system is an open IIoT platform that links sensors and machines together for reliable network communication. As well as transmitting data to the target platform via a wired, mobile or wireless connection, the TDC also has data processing capability. Data can therefore be analyzed and evaluated locally (edge computing). With digital inputs and outputs, user-defined real-time alarms (SMS notifications) can be set based on relevant data. Process, status and diagnostic information is made more transparent, increasing the productivity and efficiency of industrial processes. SICK offers customer-specific cloud solutions (SaaS) for this purpose.
