About us
Ziehl-Abegg is one of the internationally leading companies in the ventilation and drive technology sector with matching control technology. Examples of application areas are heating and refrigeration plants along with clean room and agricultural technology. Already back in the 50's, Ziehl-Abegg laid the basis for modern ventilation drives which are still the state of the art worldwide (external rotor motors). Another sector is electric motors, which provide the drive in elevators and medical applications (computer tomography), in deep-sea underwater vehicles and in modern motor buses.
Emil Ziehl founded the company in 1910 in Berlin as a manufacturer of electric motors. After the Second World War, the company headquarters was relocated to Southern Germany.

That is the new ZAcube fan system – with just a few movements, you can effortlessly and immediately install a highly efficient fan configuration in various arrays and sizes, exactly as needed. Up to five levels, they can be stacked atop one another or side by side. With the use of simple connecting equipment, effortless manual mounting to the modules using standard screws is possible. Using an ingenious click system we have ensured rapid, simple accessibility to the ZAcube's internal mechanism. The ZAcube conforms to current dimensions for standard filters. It is cost-effective and fits into planning optimally.
ZAset Smartphone App
The optimal tool for intelligent control of fans and controllers. With ZAset we offer you an installation and diagnostic tool for a variety of fan types and controllers. ZAset enables easy and fast access to all the parameters and functions of ECblue motors, Fcontrol, Icontrol, PMcontrol frequency inverters and intelligent UNIcon controllers. ZAset let you monitor the operating state of your device. As a result, you can detect changes in the operating state earlier and prevent a shutdown of the device – or even the plant. High efficiant centrifugal fan- ZABluefin
The latest generation of free running wheel in steel or ZAmid® technology with 5 backward curved blades. Impeller with bionic 3D fluting thanks to innovative design in the form of a specially wound blade geometry. The tubercle on the blade leading edge, which is modelled on a humpback whale, and the V-shaped serrated rear edge allow a wide characteristic map range. The highest impeller and system efficiencies are achieved in conjunction with an opening rotating diffusor. In combination with the innovatively rippled blade surface, diffuse sound radiation takes place, ensuring the lowest possible sound level. ZApilotXL
The compact performance module (sizes 250 - 560) The ZApilotXL series, available in sizes 250 to 560, achieves an efficiency increase of up to 5% thanks to optimally adapted, bionic guide vanes: Together with the vertical diffuser, the integrated guide vanes convert dynamic pressure into static pressure, increasing the system's power density.
ZAplus NextGeneration
The most climate-friendly, energy-efficient, and quietest fan, including a multi-diffuser and guide vane with bionic fine air particle removal function. The newly developed guide vane with a special bionic fine air particle removal function provides reduced acoustics, with noise levels up to 4 dB lower. The durable multi-diffuser significantly increases the performance of the entire system. The nozzle ensures aerodynamically optimized air flow and extremely reliable stability of the impeller and motor. This product also offers high corrosion protection thanks to a corrosion-free nozzle made of high-performance composite material.
