1-12" Modbus HMI: as compact as a mobile phone

DISPLAY VISIONS proves that an ultra-compact design doesn't have to compromise functionality with its EA-HMI series of touch-enabled operator panels. With screen diagonals as small as 2.8" and 4.3", these displays offer powerful functionality in a minimal footprint. This provides a robust solution for all industrial applications where compact dimensions are crucial. The EA-HMI series operator panels can be used with more than 20 common programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including models from renowned manufacturers such as Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, and Siemens. They are configured as slaves and support the standard communication protocols Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP. In addition to their compact dimensions, the easy integration into existing PLC systems is a key highlight of this series. The displays support all data types, including coil, discrete, input, and holding. They also support the processing of 32-bit floating-point values ​​for floating-point calculations. These data elements, ranging from text and numbers to bar graphics and images, can be flexibly assigned to individual Modbus registers. The free HMI Designer software is available for customers to quickly and easily develop their own custom user interfaces. This WYSIWYG tool allows for intuitive screen design. After the interface design is complete, the Modbus registers are logically linked to the display elements, ensuring that the corresponding data is automatically and always up-to-date on the display. Upon request, DISPLAY VISIONS also creates complete, customer-specific HMI designs as a service. The EA HMI series control units offer a high brightness of 1000 cd/m², guaranteeing excellent readability even in poor lighting conditions or outdoors.
