Hela relies on digital maintenance with argvis; Maintenance Portal

Hela Gewürzwerke Hermann Laue GmbH, based in Ahrensburg, is one of the leading manufacturers of spices, sauces, and marinades for industry, trade, and retail. To digitize and increase the transparency of maintenance processes in the plant, Hela decided to implement the argvis Maintenance Portal based on SAP PM.

The goal was to replace the previous paper-based processes and significantly increase efficiency in maintenance, fault handling, and order processing. Simple, intuitive operation for technicians was particularly important – both on the desktop and via the app.

The result: Today, Hela benefits from a uniform, end-to-end solution for all maintenance processes. Faults are reported digitally, work orders are automatically imported from the SAP system and processed on the go. Maintenance plans and checklists are also available digitally at all times. The consistent SAP integration enables seamless documentation and improved evaluation of measures.

One highlight: the use of the digital shift log and the option for on-site photo documentation. This facilitates better knowledge sharing and allows for faster initiation of follow-up processes. The project was supported by argvis; as a partner for mobile and smart SAP maintenance and demonstrates how modern solutions are also being successfully implemented in the food industry.
