And what do you do when you are informed that an important component is no longer available? Either you change the rest of the technology, redesign the system or ask an experienced specialist for individual encoders for an alternative.       The NPP156 was the first panel PC to be certified for the new Siemens Industrial Edge ecosystem. The open Industrial Edge Runtime provides a platform on which process optimization applications can be easily and quickly implemented using pre-built apps for processing, visualizing and analyzing data. This makes the connection between IT and OT in production much easier. A powerful Intel® Celeron® J6412 (Elkhart Lake) CPU with 2 GHz is used as the CPU. Plus 8 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD storage (expandable). Equipped with 2 independent Gigabit LAN interfaces, 4 serial RS232/RS485 and 5 USB ports, the NPP156 can solve a wide range of communication tasks. The display sizes vary between 15" and 21.5" TFT with Full HD resolution. A capacitive PCT touch screen is used as the input medium. The wide supply voltage range is 9..36 VDC. Thanks to the easy control cabinet installation and the protection class IP66, the NPP156 is ideal for many industrial applications such as in production where robust and long-lasting solutions are required.
