DISPLAY VISIONS has developed a particularly compact Modbus display module. The module is equipped with a 4.3-inch, bright and easily readable display. This makes it ideal for use with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) such as those offered by manufacturers such as Siemens, Beckhoff, Panasonic, etc.
The new display module from DISPLAY VISIONS supports the communication formats Modbus/TCP and Modbus/RTU. Accordingly, it is equipped with interfaces for WiFi, LAN and RS485. The brilliant IPS display is characterized by a high brightness of around 1,000 cd/m2 and all-round readability. The new Modbus display offers optimal flexibility in terms of power supply - the device can be operated on any DC supply in the voltage range from 5 V to 30 V DC. In a market dominated by products with significantly larger screens (15 inches and more), DISPLAY VISIONS is opening up new possibilities with its Modbus display in a wall housing with a screen diagonal of 4.3 inches and allowing the design of very compact and, above all, cost-effective HMI units. In order to cover the demand for other small displays, the manufacturer has announced that it will also include versions with, for example, 7 inches in its range.
