Metal Work est un groupe industriel spécialisé dans la conception, la production et la commercialisation de composants pour l'automatisation, dont le siège est à Concesio, dans la province de Brescia, en Italie.
Le groupe compte actuellement 59 sociétés réparties dans le monde entier.
Metal Work S.p.A., la société mère, fondée en 1967, a progressivement et constamment élargie sa structure de production et commerciale pour devenir l'une des entités les plus importantes du secteur des composants pneumatique pour l'automatisation. Elle propose une gamme de produits répartie sur cinq gammes : actionneurs, vannes, unités de traitement d'air, raccords et composants de préhension. Metal Work est constamment à la recherche de solutions et de produits qui répondent aux nouvelles demandes du marché. Cela se reflète dans l'expansion continue de sa gamme de produits et dans le développement de nouvelles applications et de solutions personnalisées. Ces dernières années, l'offre s'est élargie pour inclure la production de composants électriques et de la technologie du vide.
Actuellement, plus de 500 employés travaillent dans les unités de Concesio (BS), tandis que la structure commerciale italienne et étrangère compte plus de 800 personnes. Depuis 1992, Metal Work est certifiée selon la norme ISO 9001. En 2000, la certification du système de gestion environnementale selon la norme ISO 14001 a été ajoutée. En 2007, Metal Work a appliqué la norme britannique OHSAS 18001 pour garantir un système de gestion de la santé et de la sécurité des travailleurs, puis est passée à la norme ISO 45001 en 2019. Toutes les certifications mentionnées ont été délivrées par l'organisme de certification allemand DEKRA ITS, accrédité par TGA. Depuis 2016, Metal Work est également certifié Elite, un projet de la Bourse Italienne en collaboration avec le ministère de l'Économie et des Finances, Confindustria et ABI, conçu pour soutenir la croissance des PME.

Drehflügelantrieb Series R5 ø25
Metal Work erweitert sein Angebot an Drehflügelantrieben der Serie R5 durch die Einführung der neuen Größe ø25. Auch die neue Baugröße wird komplett von Metal Work hergestellt und hat ähnliche Konstruktionsmerkmale wie der vorherige ø16: Kompaktes Gehäuse aus eloxiertem Aluminium, durchgehende Stange mit umspritzter Dichtung, Stützkugellager und Ausführungen mit verschiedenen Drehwinkeln. Die Befestigung kann entweder direkt an der Wand erfolgen (über die Gewinde am Gehäuse), oder mittels einer L-förmigen Halterung (Fuß), die vorne oder hinten befestigt werden kann, oder sogar mit einem stabilen Frontbefestigungszubehör. An der Rückseite kann zusätzlich ein Zubehörteil zur Einstellung des Drehwinkels angebracht werden, an dem auch spezielle elastische Anschläge montiert werden können.
Proportional precision pressure regulator SYNTRONIC Series
The range of Metal Work Proportional precision pressure regulators now includes a new device: SYNTRONIC. The SYNTRONIC Series is characterized by the main body, made of technopolymer, which mounts interchangeable 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8" bushings. It allows the achievement of a high flow rate in regulation (up to 2,800 Nl/min with 3/8" bushings). The electronic part - completely new - is contained in a protective technopolymer casing, just as is the easy-to-read 3-digit type display. Syntronic can be controlled remotely via a cable connection and M12x1 connector accepting commands in Volts or mA. The central part, made of aluminium, contains two rolling diaphragms which allow a high flow rate and excellent dynamic behaviour, thanks to the reduction of friction. Also for Syntronic the downstream pressure is relieved when the upstream pressure is set to zero; this allows, for example, to place the regulator between a valve and a cylinder because the air can flow in both directions: towards the cylinder with regulated pressure and back to the relieving valve.
EB 80 BOXI 6-8-12 valve versions
Range widening: EB 80 BOXI 6-8-12 valve versions EB 80 Boxi, one of the most successful products in recent years, is now available in the new 6, 8 and 12 valve versions.
