About us
Phoenix Mecano Solutions AG belongs to the globally active Phoenix Mecano AG Group. At our location in Stein am Rhein, Germany, approximately 130 employees develop, produce, sell and process solutions and components for our customers' industrial applications. Our products include a wide range of enclosures, membrane keyboards, front membranes and support arm systems. We are highly flexible in the field of enclosures and are able to implement individual customer requests regarding color, assembly or mechanical processing within a few days. This already starting from only one single piece. In addition, we offer profile assembly systems made of aluminum and mechanical components such as electric cylinders, lifting columns, linear units or even coin acceptors that support your mechanical application. This also includes drives for the care and home or office furniture industry. Not to forget the electronic components such as terminals, coding switches, spring contacts, chokes and inductors or backplanes.

LEAN Workshop
Optimize and design your assembly process live with us in a Lean Workshop. LEAN Workstations
Customized LEAN workstations developed for your product Each LEAN assembly workstation is individually designed and manufactured to the customer's product according to LEAN principles in order to increase productivity. The product is assembled in a one-piece flow, which increases productivity compared to "batch production" and also significantly minimizes space. Together with the customer, the previous assembly process is examined and the MUDAS or wastes are uncovered. In the second step, a concept is developed and the assembly workstation or assembly line is designed. The focus here is on eliminating the previously uncovered wastes and consequently increasing the added value. At the same time, however, it is also important to ensure ergonomics and targeted illumination of the workplace. SETAGO® Pick2Light assembly guidance system - Easy installation and commissioning - Higher productivity and zero errors
Benefit from the advantages of SETAGO® Pick by Light System. SETAGO® Pick by Light System guides workers and increases productivity and prevents errors. Additionally it massively reduces the training time of new employees. SETAGO® is also an ideal tool for handling product variations. Setago also helps transforming your production to paperless productions. The system leads through the assembly process step by step. A screen visually indicates the next step and the light sensor indicates the component which has to be used for this process step. Once the process step is completed, the touch screen displays the next assembly step. The system detects and notifies the worker if the wrong parts are used, thus preventing assembly errors. Production data acquisition - PDA
Book work steps, record set-up and production times, book rejects, display parts lists - our PDA is the easiest start to a paperless production! SETAGO® production data acquisition (PDA) controls and documents the entire production process on the shop floor. It provides the workers with the information they need at every stage of production and simultaneously records all relevant key figures. All production data is available digitally, including parts lists, construction plans and other important documents. The PDA not only supports production, but also enables the recording of set-up and production times as well as quantities of material. The current status of each production order can be viewed at any time, allowing easy comparison with the target times. Optionally, an e-paper label can be used to label the material and reduce paper consumption in production. E-paper Label - Paperless labeling or order processing on the shopfloor
The battery-free e-paper label, also known as the electronic shelf label, is increasingly being used in modern production and logistics processes. Information such as order and product data, QR codes, storage locations and more can be flexibly designed and transferred to the e-paper via NFC. The labels can be written on as often as required and in a short space of time, without the need to print paper labels. By dispensing with batteries and paper, this solution is also sustainable.
