a system that can be controlled simply and conveniently via voice input. without the user having to go to the display. without the user needing their hands free. maximum flexibility in operation and yet absolutely reliable. the system even answers questions about its configuration or status, should the user need information or values quickly and easily during operation. what has long been a reality in the private sector with alexa or siri, our prototype now offers for industrial manufacturing. our robot bar features a voice control system: drinks can be ordered simply by voice command. the system is based on the codesys software development platform. it is controlled via an alexa echodot. the desired drink is selected and the selection is transmitted via alexa to the system, which confirms the input. the voice commands are evaluated online, and the received values are transmitted to the plc via mqtt. the system is based on an ai system that uses deep learning to evaluate the voice commands and thus continuously improves in order to minimize incorrect input. the necessary hotwords, synonyms, and alternative phrases must be defined and configured in advance. the voice control user can interact with the machine intuitively and without prior training, easily entering even complex commands using their natural language. capturing the machine's spoken feedback is also highly intuitive, as the user automatically listens. our robot bar functions reliably even in noisy environments and is user-friendly. the system's applications in intelligent industrial automation are diverse!
