Continuous monitoring of moisture in oil provides valuable information about oil condition and supports preventive maintenance strategies in industrial applications. Excess moisture can negatively affect lubrication performance and insulation properties and may lead to increased maintenance requirements or equipment failures.
The Moisture in Oil RH/T Module enables continuous measurement of relative humidity and temperature directly in oils and fuels. Relative humidity measurements provide insight into the moisture saturation level of the oil and help assess changes caused by temperature variations and oil aging.
Suitable applications include power transformers, gearboxes, hydraulic and lubrication systems, wind turbines and offshore infrastructure, as well as oil immersion cooling applications. The compact, factory-calibrated RH/T module is designed for continuous in-process moisture monitoring and offers easy system integration via its digital I²C interface. Its robust stainless-steel housing and temperature-compensated design make it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
