Kontron expands its HMI portfolio with more powerful control panels based on Arm® NXP i.MX8M Plus processors for device and machine control as well as building automation. The new product line offers significantly higher computing and graphics performance, greatly expanded connectivity, and a wide range of functions. Numerous interfaces enable communication with a wide variety of fieldbuses and cloud connections. In addition, the control panel provides extensive customization options thanks to its internal M.2 slot and an additional expansion connector. The high-performance control panel series combines premium design with scalable performance for device and machine control as well as building automation. The product line is specifically designed for control cabinet mounting. For fast and efficient implementation of demanding automation and visualization solutions, it is also available with CODESYS SoftPLC. Depending on performance requirements, variants with Arm® i.MX6 or i.MX8M Plus processors and different memory configurations are available. The control panels are designed for long-term availability (>10 years) and can be customized and optimized to meet individual requirements.

The new generation of ecomatBasic controllers
The new generation of ecomatBasic controllers has everything you need in terms of performance and flexibility to reliably control mobile machines. In addition to a controller for standard applications, the ecomatBasic also offers a separate controller for safety-related functions. With up to 16 multifunctional inputs and outputs each, the controller is designed to meet any customer-specific requirement – especially as the computing power has been more than doubled compared to the first generation. Utilising this extra performance and the convenience of CODESYS 3.5 in existing machines is easy: The dimensions of the CR403S are identical to those of the BasicController series.

The new Motor Drive System IE5/IE6 - Performance in sync with energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
The first synchronous motor that is as easy to use as an asynchronous motor. The permanent magnet inside is intelligently designed to achieve high levels of efficiency and falls into the top energy efficiency classes IE5 and IE6. The drive system consisting of the m550 motor, g500 gearboxes and the current i550 and i650 generation of frequency drives performs remarkably also in dynamic applications. Compact, ergonomic, clean and quiet Markingenius® MG3 may be conveniently located in an office, like any other computer peripheral. Each monochrome ribbon can print more than 300.000 MG-TPMF 4x10 mm cable tags with full printable surface coverage. Carriage loading and unloading operations are rapid; support templates are easily interchanged and as the pigment deposited from the ribbon dries instantaneously, printed sheets are immediately ready to use.
