Touch Panels P-Serie mit integriertem VPN Router

Remote access to an HMI is essential in automation technology. The P-series touch panels include an integrated VPN connection using Tosibox® Lock for Container (LfC). In the course of Industry 4.0, data must be transparent and available at all times. Remote access to the HMI is also essential for this. The P-series touch panels now include an integrated VPN connection using Tosibox® Lock for Container (LfC). This eliminates the costs for an additional VPN router. Tosibox® technology is a patented remote maintenance solution and meets the highest security standards. Equipped with 2 independent LAN interfaces and serial RS232/RS485, these panels can communicate with many controllers thanks to over 350 communication protocols. The second LAN interface can be used to connect to the IT world. OPC UA or MQTT are available for this, among others. The display sizes vary between 4.3" and 15". A resistive touch screen is used as the input medium. The supply voltage is 24 VDC. Thanks to the simple control cabinet installation and the IP65 protection class, the devices are ideal for many industrial applications, such as in mechanical engineering where robust and durable solutions are required.

    2. TOX ElectricPowerDrive

      TOX ElectricPowerDrive

TOX PRESSOTECHNIK has expanded its electromechanical joining modules with the TOX EdgeUnit and, in the process, renamed them TOX ElectricPowerDrive. This change is accompanied by new series designations. The TOX EdgeUnit serves as decentralized intelligence, featuring two digital inputs and outputs as well as two analog inputs. In addition to an integrated measuring amplifier (internal force sensor), it provides another for external force sensors, for example. Also integrated is a memory from which information such as maintenance and stroke counters, as well as drive type information, can be retrieved at any time, enabling automatic registration of the ElectricPowerDrive with the system. The TOX ElectricPowerDrive maintains constant communication with the TOX Power Module via a fast and stable EtherCAT connection. This compact controller supplies the power for the TOX ElectricPowerDrive. An external linear encoder can be connected as an option. It communicates via EtherCAT with the heart of the drive system – the TOX System Control. All information converges here, and the customer's data and control level is connected to the customer's PLC or robot via a flexible fieldbus. The user configures and parameters the process using TOX System Control. The system also stores all relevant data and forwards it to the server, for example, via Ethernet for quality assurance. The necessary programs, including those for visualization and diagnostics, are provided by TOX Software, which runs on the TOX System Control. TOX System Control is available in both control cabinet and screen-based versions.

    3. TOX FlexPress Compact

      TOX FlexPress Compact

With the TOX FlexPress Compact, TOX PRESSOTECHNIK has developed a new standard press, which keeps an eye on the parameters itself. Not only the concept is new, but also the design. In addition to the now dominating color white, touches of green and magenta also uniquely identify the new standard press as having been built by TOX PRESSOTECHNIK, but lend it a more modern appearance at the same time. The compact manual workstation only takes up a footprint of 425 x 703 millimeters on a table. With the highly intuitive control, the user can create a new process with just a few clicks via the 13-inch UDI (Universal Data Interface) panel. This is important, as the standard press is flexible in terms of technology – its tools can quickly be changed for any technologies mastered by TOX, such as clinching, riveting or pressing in. For the first time the control cabinet is integrated into the press housing, thus reducing the space requirement of the table press. Quiet power in four designs The electromechanical drive TOX ElectricPowerDrive is positioned below a noise-reducing cover and drives the press with 5, 10, 30 or 60 kN depending on the version. The integrated sensors measure each process and transfer the data to the process monitoring. It evaluates the information, creates analyses and thus ensures traceability of each component. Safe operation is ensured by a quiet- and quick-acting electrical safety door – with a touch of magenta – as well as RGBW illumination of the work area: This lights up in red for failed parts and green if everything is in order. The new TOX FlexPress Compact with its integrated sensors and flexibility is ideally suited to applications requiring precision and tasks with small parts in small or serial assemblies. In short: Whenever changing components require replacement of tools and users want to record process and quality data seamlessly.

    4. TOX ProcessMonitor PMO

      TOX ProcessMonitor PMO

Focus on production: data, control and efficiency With the TOX® PMO (Process Monitor) and EPW 600 systems, TOX® is bringing new solutions for the end-to-end monitoring of production processes to the trade fair. Both systems enable precise recording and evaluation of process data in real time. They provide the basis for predictive maintenance and contribute to increasing process reliability and product quality. Thanks to their modular structure, the monitoring systems can be integrated into new systems as well as used to retrofit existing systems.

    5. TR Electronic supplies new version of SIL encoder with PROFInet

TR Electronic supplies new version of SIL encoder with PROFInet

As a specialist in technically complex encoder solutions with a strong customer focus, TR Electronic has been one of the pioneers in SIL-certified encoders for many years. The latest standards and technical developments are incorporated into the product portfolio in all product areas, while at the same time expanding the possible areas of application and control systems. The compact CD_582 absolute encoders with functional safety from TR Electronic, which have just been certified by Profibus International (PNO), offer a range of new and enhanced features. The implementation of the latest versions of the protocol stacks on state-of-the-art hardware components ensures future-proof availability. New features at a glance: _ PROFINET Security Class 1 _ System redundancy S2 _ PROFIdrive encoder profile V4.2 _ PROFIsafe address type 2 _ Process data: Safe acceleration (SAV) in accordance with IEC 61800-5-3 Despite all the enhancements, the latest version of the CD_582+FS PROFINET remains compatible with existing applications, meaning that other encoder profiles are still available and can be used for secure transmissions. The compact CD_582+FS safety encoders are mechanically based on the successful Generation 2 of TR's absolute encoders. Solid shafts, blind shafts, and through hollow shafts with various diameters are available as standard. The positive locking from the customer shaft to the scanning, as well as the redundantly designed multiturn gear, meet the high requirements for functions that must comply with the SIL3 or PLe safety standard. The latest generation of the CD_582+FS with PROFINET PROFIsafe also allows users to seamlessly integrate the encoders into their systems and ensures the future availability of their safe drive functions.

    6. TR provides EPLAN-Macros for absolute, rotary encoders.

TR provides EPLAN-Macros for absolute, rotary encoders.

TR-Electronic now offers EPLAN macros for download for the various standard rotary encoders of the C__582 series. This enables simple, seamless integration of the electrical side of the sensors from TR-Electronic into the electrical plan of the machine or system. Depending on how you work, different views can be used, which, for example, show bus and supply lines in separate units (for the separate documentation of data and supply lines) or together in one unit. If you work with pre-assembled cables and therefore do not need any detailed information about the cores of the bus cable, you can use a particularly compact representation. For integration in parts lists, it is advisable to store the part order number of the selected rotary encoder in the macro data. This means that parts lists can also be easily created using the electrical plan and the decisions made on the design, interface, shaft geometry... are clearly defined via the part number. Like all product documentation, the macros can be found in the downloads for the individual items on the TR-Electronic website via the product selector. The assignment to article numbers that can be ordered ensures that the macro valid for the respective rotary encoder is reliably identified. The EPLAN macros complement the already available STEP 3D data of the latest encoder generation from TR-Electronic. This allows users to efficiently and reliably integrate TR rotary encoders into the mechanical and electrical design of a machine or system. EPLAN® is a registered trademark of EPLAN Software & Service GmbH & Co. KG or its affiliated companies in Germany and other countries.
